About Straightlines The StraightLines team takes pride in producing levels of restoration suited to the customers’ desires. We specialize in everything from show cars to daily driven street machines. We performed museum-quality restorations on most of the eighteen 1936 Fords of the Joe Floyd Collection now housed in the Early Ford V8 Foundation Museum in Auburn, Indiana. Countless other high-level restorations and custom builds for customers around the country are now being driven, shown, and enjoyed by owners.

Many customers come to StraightLines for a partial restoration, paint touch-up, performance enhancements, or mechanical repairs. In recent years, performance, safety, and comfort upgrades such as Dakota Digital Gauges, Holley Fuel Injection, QA1 Suspension, Vintage Air/Restomod Air, sound systems, crate engines, and many other products have become an ever-increasing part of the business.

Custom painting In any project, StraightLines is prepared to perform as much or as little as the customer desires. Commonly this is dictated by the customer’s budget limitations. It is not unusual for a customer to bring a project in for a portion of a build one year, and then return the following year for additional work. Everyone has their own budget to work within, and we understand that. We make every effort to keep our customers “in the loop” on their project both in terms of how the project is progressing as well as costs along the way.

We are proud of our work product and encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Several in-progress builds and completed projects are shown in photo albums on Facebook. These sites are kept up-to-date and are a great opportunity for our customers and potential customers to view our work product.

If you have a project or restoration which you are considering, we encourage you to stop in our modern facility for a tour and to visit about your automotive ideas. We are located in the Tea, SD, Industrial Park at 300 N. Linda Avenue. Our owner, Zach Smith, can be reached on his cell phone 605-214-1193, or by email at straightlinessd@gmail.com.
